Orange poppy seed cake
Mix together in a beater: 250g margerine, 250g flour, 200g sugar, zest and juice of one orange, 3 tbs poppy seeds (optional, but nicer!), 4 tbs marmalade, 4 eggs, 1 tbs bicarbonate of soda, 1 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp ground cardamom, 1tsp ground cinnamon. Bake in a moderate oven (fan electric 175) for about 30 minutes.
