Fresh tomato and basil sauce for pasta! (Għaġin biz-zalza tat-tadam frisk u l-ħabaq!)
Finely chop 4 cloves of garlic, one small red onion, 6 large tomatoes. Fry in some olive oil the garlic and onion….add the chopped tomatoes, 4 tbs kunserva (tomato puree) and a handful of torn basil leaves. Add veg. stock cube or season to taste. Simmer till thick and serve with pasta!
