Christmas biscuits!


250g sugar

250g margerine

500g plain flour

2 eggs

vanilla essence

Method:  Beat the eggs and the sugar thick thick;  add the vanilla essence.  Add the flour and lastly add the margerine till a soft dough forms.  Let to stand for half an hour in a cool place.  Cut into Christmas shapes and brush with a beaten egg, scatter some coconut and sugar on some, some slivered almonds on others.  You may also do sandwich biscuits with either jam or nutella.  Bake in a pre-heated oven (fan electric 150) for about 15 minutes or till golden brown.
