Pat’s Breakfast Pockets
Ingredients:
- 1 pack of filo pastry 6/8 sheets cut in 3 strips the full length.
- round 5/600 gr ricotta
- 350/400 gr mixture of muesli, oats, fruit and nuts
- A handful of dark choc chips.
- grated nutmeg and 1 tablespoon of melted butter
- 1/2 grated orange
Method:
Mix all nuts, fruits, oats and muesli with ricotta.Add the choc chips, grated orange and grated nutmeg.
Brush the pastry with butter and put 1 tablespoon of the mixture at an angle.
Keep turning at an angle to form a triangle. repeat with all mixture
When all done glaze with butter and bake in gas mark 7 till golden brown.
Serve cold with a drizzle of Maple syrup
