Homemade Iced Tea

  • 5 or 6 teabags,
  • ice
  • 5 cups of hot water
  • ¾ cup of lemon juice
  • ½ cup of honey
  • sugar if needed

Boil some water in a saucepan, then remove it and put the teabags in it.
Add ½ a cup of sugar or 1 cup according to how sweet you like your iced tea to be.
After that stir until the sugar melts and leave it for an hour or so. Discharge the mixture into a pitcher or something of the sort while leaving the teabags in the saucepan.
Refill the saucepan with water over and over again until the pitcher is full.
Squeeze the teabags so that if there is anymore liquid it will be drained out and lastly pour it over a glass filled with ice. Wedge a piece of orange or lemon to the glass, not the whole pitcher and it will be ready.
The trick to making a perfect homemade iced tea is to use enough tea bags and if you prefer to have it strong add more teabags do not let it overstep. Also, always use fresh lemon juice or peach juice and don’t forget to let the hot tea cool down before refrigerating it.

The most common flavour would be: lemon, peach, lime, raspberry, passion fruit and cherry. Iced tea is essentially cold tea poured in a glass which has ice in it, however it is still one of the many taken beverages during the summer season.
