Pasta marinara salad


This can be eaten hot,warm or cold. And you can add your favorite fish or seafood .An easy dish to prepare . This is a good addition to a buffet meal . 

Ingredients:

500g pasta I used cavatappi

2 teaspoons turmeric

cooked octopus or ready bought from deli counter octopus in garlic

1 large tin tuna

sliced olives

capers

chopped mint and parsley

chopped tomatoes

finely chopped or crushed garlic

olive oil

seasoning

if you like some heat a chopped chili pepper or some cayenne pepper

Method :

Put the turmeric in the pasta boiling water so the pasta takes a yellowish colour .

Put all the ingredients in a big bowl then toss and mix in the cooked pasta.

Season with salt and freshly ground pepper and drizzle with olive oil.
