The Malta Council for Culture and the Arts is launching a new series of Cultural Tours. These Cultural Tours form part of our annual Cultural Calendar of Events. They enhance the understanding of our local culture and serve to increase the knowledge of Maltese historical heritage, traditions and skills. A total of eight cultural tours will be scheduled for the 2011–2012 season coming to an end on Saturday 19th May 2012. Participants will be accompanied by professional guides at all times and tours are available in Maltese and English. Transport leaves from two pick up points, one near the Phoenicia Hotel, Floriana and another in front of the Nazzarenu Church, Sliema.

A modern day Apiary to learn about how bees are kept and how Maltese honey is made.
The San Pawl Milqi site
Manikata Rural Heritage Trail visiting a number of interesting points including Punic tombs and more.                                            Leaving at 8.45am

Applications and more information about these Cultural Tours may be downloaded from the MCCA website or by visiting the Malta Council for Culture and the Arts, 230 Republic Street Valletta. Participants may book for one or more tour with reduced prices for children and senior citizens. Bookings must be made by not later than Wednesday before the respective tour.
