In Guardia Parade

In Guardia Parade is a re-enactment show of an authentic historical episode that used to happen from time to time at the Fort St. Elmo in Valletta. In this show you can re-live the inspection of the fort and the garrison by the Grand Bailiff of the Order of the Knights of St. John, who was in charge of military affairs at that time.

During the show, all 70 re-enactors are dressed in their finest uniforms, all the while performing a military drill that demonstrates the alertness of the garrison to act in case of a military threat. You can explore this historical Valletta fort only before the show, so we recommend that you arrive at the Fort well before the In Guardia Parade starts and explore this historical fortification!
