Biskuttini tar-raħal
Mix together: 500g flour, 350g sugar, 3 tbs semolina, lemon and orange zest, 2 tsps aniseed, vanilla essence, 4 eggs. Mix to a soft dough. Form into small balls and line a dish with baking paper. Place the balls apart on the dish and flatten slightly and dust with some more semolina. Bake in a moderate oven 175 (fan electric) for 30 minutes. Cool and decorate with pink glace icing.
