Ravjul il-Forn – Baked Ravjoli

Ingredients:

    Sauce:
  • garlic finely chopped
  • tomatoes peeled + puree
  • lots of cheese
  • Ravjoli:
  • either make your own or else try to
    find some good ones possibly
  • made using goats cheese.

Method:

Place Ravioli in the dish (uncooked) in layers covered with sauce (make sure you have lots of sauce since ravioli will cook in this sauce)
Cover the whole with more sauce and cheese
Bake for about 30 mins

Cooking Time: 30 mins

    what would we fill homemade ravioli for this recipe with – simply fresh goat’s cheese, parsley and seasoning?

    Can we use frozen ones and if yes I presume they have to be thawed first…

      No need to thaw the frozen ravioli … I find covering the dish with foil while baking them is better then i check to see if they are cooked through and I remove the foil and bake until its a nice golden colour .
