Bacon Cheese Dip

Ingredients:

  • 8 slices bacon (about 200g), diced, fried and well drained
  • 200g cream cheese, cubed, room temperature
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 small onion very finely minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • dash hot sauce

Method:

Place bacon in a large skillet. Cook over medium-high heat until evenly brown. Drain, crumble, and set aside.
In a small bowl, mix the cream cheese Cheddar cheese, onion, and bacon. Place bowl in microwave, and cook 2 minutes. Remove, and stir well. Return to microwave, and cook 2 to 4 minutes more.
Serve warm with galletti or toasted bread
