Spinach & Tuna butter dough crescents


Spinach & tuna crescents made with a buttery yeast dough that melts in the mouth. Found this recipe online and decided to try it. This dough makes 32 crescents.
In a measuring jug put 1/3 cup warm water and 3/4 cup warm milk and 11/2 teaspoons sugar ,add 2 teaspoons instant yeast and leave it until it froths ,Put 31/2 cups flour and 1 teaspoon salt in a bowl . When it froths add the yeast mixture and mix ,add a beaten egg and 4 tablespoons softened butter. When the mixture gets dough like if needed add more flour until you have a soft pliable dough that is not too sticky. Put in a bowl and cover and leave it in a warm place to prove. It will double in size after about 1 hour or so. Divide the dough into 4 and roll in balls then open in large rounds ,cut into 8 triangles ,put some filling on the wide edge and roll. Put on a lined baking sheet and brush with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame and poppy seeds. Bake in a 180 C preheated oven until golden.
