Spicy seafood


For this seafood soup I used mussels ,surimi shrimps and chopped white fish fillets but you can use any fish or seafood you like.
Heat some butter and oil in a pot then saute a big chopped onion,a chopped de seeded chili pepper (add as much as you prefer it to be spicy) 1 teaspoon turmeric,1 teaspoon hot curry and 1 teaspoon paprika (sweet if you do not like it that spicy and smoked paprika if you like heat) a teaspoon of cumin. Then add a large peeled and chopped tomato ,lots of chopped garlic ,do not let the garlic burn. Add the chopped fish fillets and fry a bit then add 1 ltr fish stock and season. If using fresh prawns use their outer shell plus if you have fish heads etc you can make the stoick yourself . Let it simmer a bit Also if you wish you can use half white wine and half fish stock. Then add the mussels and I used surimi shrimps. Let it cook for about 8 -10 minutes. Serve in a big serving plate and ladle the remaining soup in small bowls.DSCF2338 DSCF2333 DSCF2334 DSCF2337
