Spicy chicken,mushroom & pasta bake.

A creamy spicy chicken & mushroom sauce flavored with turmeric,hot curry and garam masala ,turmeric added to the pasta cooking water . with a crispy topping of crushed ritz crackers ,squeezed garlic cloves and grated parmesan cheese.
Put a pot of water to boil and add 1 tablespoon turmeric to the water and salt.
First chop 500 g chicken breast. Sprinkle some salt and pepper over it and rub the seasoning in . Heat some oil in a deep saucepan and fry a large chopped onion and 3 chopped garlic cloves ,do not let it burn. Add 1 teaspoon of each turmeric ,garam masala & hot or mild curry and fry ,add 1 chopped red or orange sweet pepper. Then add the chopped chicken and fry untl cooked. add the sliced mushrooms and peas and lower heat.
In a small pot melt a tablespoon full of butter,when it melts stir in 3 tablespoons flour . Mix well and fry a bit then add 3 cups milk and use a whisk ,season and cook until it is creamy . Add chopped parsley to the chicken mixture and mix in well then pour the creamy milk sauce over the chicken mix. Stir well ,turn off heat .
Put 750g cavatappi (nokkli) when the water boils and cook unti al dente. Drain the pasta and mix well with the chicken & mushroom sauce.
Put in an oven dish . For the topping you need c2 cups crushed ritz crackers or breadcrumbs will do as well. ” squeezed garlic cloves and 1 cup grated parmesan cheese mix well and sprinkle over the pasta & chicken.
