Orange & cranberry star cake with Nutella topping


Preheat oven to 175 C and grease and flour a star shaped tin or a bundt tin.
Beat 3 egg whites until stiff then add 1 cup sugar until fluffy then mix in 1/2 cup oil.
In another bowl sift in 1 cup flour,1/2 teaspoon baking soda and a pinch of salt,a good pinch of cinnamon and another of ground cloves and grated rind of a large orange. Alternate mixing with the flour spoons of the egg white and 3/4 cup natural yogurt. ,until you have a smooth batter . Fold in 1/2 cup of dried cranberries.
Put in the tin and bake for about 20 minutes and check . Its ready when the cake is firm and springy to touch and when you insert a skewer in the middle it comes out clean. Decorate as you wish.
