Fish & Seafood Spicy Soup


Fish & seafood soup
Heat some oil in a pot and fry a large chopped onion,chopped garlic. Add 1/2 teaspoon turmeric ,1/2 teaspoon curry (hot or mild depends on taste) a pinch of dried chili flakes. Then add peeled and chopped tomatoes ,diced white fish fillets and diced surimi lobster tails ,chopped fresh herbs,a teaspoon of fish spice mix . 2 tablespoons of tomato paste and let it fry a bit then pour in 1.75 ltr of water,add salt & pepper top taste . I put a strainer with cleaned small fish to cook over the pot so they infuse the flavor in the soup.Let it simmer for about 3/4 hour. Then add mussels in shells and prawns and cook for a few minutes in the soup.This can be served over Basmati rice as well and of course with a twist of lemonDSCF3402 DSCF3400
