Easy Seville orange marmalade

All who follow my recipes know I do not do complicated recipes ,many are quite straight forward even the cakes most are a one bowl recipes and do not take forever to prepare. I like to go look for recipes online and I happened to see this easy marmalade recipe. It was a recipe on the Jerusalem post originally and had a lot of very good reviews so I put it on my to do list and it came handy  No hours of preparing the fruit or simmering away to set or using fruitpec or additives its just fruit and sugar
.You can use this recipe to make any kind of citrus marmalade.
1kg sugar
6 oranges ( for mine I used 2 lemons & 6 seville oranges as they were not too big.
Method
Wash the oranges. Grate the zest of two of them using a cheese grater or zester, and put the zest aside. Cut each orange (peel and all!) in to eight pieces, removing any visible pips as you go. Place in a blender/food processor until finely ground. Boil the orange mixture with the grated orange zest and the sugar in a saucepan, stirring occasionally, for 30 mins. It splatters, so be careful.
Let it cool a bit then fill sterilized jars and seal. To sterilize the jars wash well and rinse with very hot water then dry off in a warm oven .DSCF1235 DSCF1230 DSCF1231 DSCF1233
