Chicken liver (Lebanese recipe -meze)

I do not like any liver much except fried rabbit liver with lots of garlic 🙂 I decided to try cook it this way ,this is a Lebanese recipe ,they cook chicken liver this way as meze .
400g chicken liver cut and sinew removed
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons chopped fresh mint or 1 teaspoon dried mint
4 squeezed or crushed garlic cloves
4 tablespoons olive oil
juice of 1 lemon
pomegranate syrup

Put the cleaned cut liver in a bowl then add to it the olive oil,mint,salt and garlic.
Mix and then cover and put in the fridge for at least 30 minutes .
heat a frying pan on medium heat and add the chicken liver and stir and fry for about 5-8 minutes until its light brown not pink.
when its all brown add the lemon juice and fry for another 3-4 minutes.
Drizzle some pomegranate syrup over it .
Then serve with finely chopped parsley on top . Its delicious eaten in warm pitta bread with a tomato salad . If you do not have pomegranate syrup its ok just add some more lemon juice.DSCF9491 DSCF9492 DSCF9495
