Cheesy Chicken & mushroom baked penne

Put water toboil to cook the penne. Add salt and a teaspoonful of turmeric and 1/2 a teaspoon of hot or mild curry to flavour the pasta.
Melt 2 tablespoons of butter and a dash of oil so it will not burn and fry chopped chicken breast or if you have you can use ready cooked chopped chicken meat. Add a teaspoon of garam masalka and 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric ,then add a large chopped onion and 2 chopped garlic cloves. When the onion softens add sliced mushrooms and some peas . When the mushrooms are cooked sprinkle 2 tablespoons of flour and add 3 cups milk or chicken stock .Season with salt & pepper . Stir until it starts to thicken like a white sauce. Add 1 cup grated cheese (I used cheddar cheese)
Drain the pasta and mix with the sauce and then put in a greased oven dish ^ sprinkle some more grated cheese on top.. Bake in a 175 C preheated oven until the top is crisp and golden.5f267159-0ef9-4397-8f48-f42914e57039wallpaper
