Apple and sultana cupcakes


I enjoy making apple desserts perhaps because they are my fave . I love cinnamon and apple aroma as they cook. These are very quick and easy to make and go down a treat with some tea or coffee.

Ingredients:

2 apples chopped finely

1 cup soft brown sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 cup sultanas

1and 1/2 cups self raising flour

2  beaten eggs

60g melted butter

Method:

Preheat oven 160C  and prepare 14 cupcake cases.

Put  all the ingredients in a bowl and mix  until flour is incorporated and you have a smooth batter.

Put spoonfuls of batter in paper cases.

Before baking put a pinch of brown sugar over each cup cake.

Bake for about 25 minutes depending on your oven. Test with a skewer .

    Look really nice and delicious plus very easy to make. What is the equivalent in grams of the cups in the recipe? Will try them for sure!

      Hi Maryanne yes they are very good and very quick and easy to make ,1 cup brown sugar = 220g brown sugar, 11/2 cups self raising flour =190g and 1/2 cup sultanas =85g . Best regards ,Lorraine .
